Description
Portuguese Laurels are marvellous laurel plants, offering an excellent alternative to the traditional cherry laurels. They boast a more refined appearance, characterised by their dark green, medium-sized pointed leaves contrasted beautifully by red stems.
Unlike cherry laurels, they exhibit slower growth, adding only about half a foot of height each year. Notably hardier than cherry laurels, Portuguese Laurels can withstand challenging conditions in exposed sites, making them a perfect fit for regions in the northern part of the country.
