The Magnolia Grandiflora is a plant that is indigenous to the Southern United States, from East Texas to Southeastern North Carolina and Central Florida. The plant itself is particularly well-liked in traditional culture, and in 2018, a famous Southern Magnolia that President Andrew Jackson had planted 200 years earlier finally grew to maturity.
