Description
Acer Palmatum Dissectum Garnet is a type of Japanese Maple that is well known for it’s vibrant colour and foliage. Acers are deciduous trees. Dissectum’s are among the smallest of the Japanese Maples. They can grow up to a height of 2 metres and have a spread of 3 metres when fully grown. This makes the Dissectum perfect for small gardens, while also adding a touch of vibrant colours to your garden. The leaves give off a lace like appearance full of vibrant colours. The foliage is a deep red to burgundy in the spring and summer before maturing to shades of red and orange in the autumn.
Dissectum’s are well suited to be placed in a shaded part of your garden. Acer Dissectum’s can thrive in well drained, neutral to acidic soil. Acer Palmatum Dissectum Garnet is a low maintenance plant that will benefit from regular watering and occasional pruning. The pruning will help to maintain it’s overall shape, and will help to make the plant look much better.
