Carex Oshimensis ‘Evergold’ is a stunning evergreen perennial that is well known for it’s narrowing arching foliage, that is creamy yellow in the center with green margins on the edges of the leaves. This evergreen perennial, is also known as the Japanese sedge. The attractive and dense foliage helps this unique evergreen plant, stand out in any garden landscape. During the summer, small brown flowers bloom with a spiked shape like appearance. This evergreen sedge is low maintenance and only requires pruning during the summer to remove any dead leaves. Evergold thrives in a variety of moist to well drained soils, with full sun or partial shade.
